Hillingdon Hospital Volunteer Drivers Scheme
Enable people with disabilities to get appointments at Hillingdon Hospital using an alternative door-to-door transport service. Volunteer driver scheme available to patients unable to travel to Hillingdon Hospital because of disability. The service mainly caters for residents living in the Borough of Hillingdon who wish to travel to Hillingdon Hospital. The transport office is staffed between the hours of 08.00 & 17.00 hours Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Patient journeys are between the hours of 8.30 am & 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

University of the Third Age
This branch of the national U3A provides learning and leisure activities for older people over 50. They have monthly meetings in Uxbridge with speakers on diverse subjects. Self-led groups meet regularly to study any subject which interests them, from Bridge to Spanish, military history to singing.
